Originally from Southern California, veteran fashion/celebrity photographer Michael Gaylord has spent the last 10 years globe trotting the world working for some of the most renowned international fashion magazines.

His dynamic style and knack for consistently producing great photography has made him one of the most sought-after fashion photographers in the industry.

Boasting an “A List” of “Who’s Who” clientèle, including supermodel Caroline Murphy and celebrities such as Cameron Diaz, Heidi Klum, Angelina Jolie and All-Star Basketball player Lisa Leslie, Michael’s high-profile images have graced the covers and editorial pages of magazines worldwide.

His time spent building strong relationships with the fashion community has garnished the attention of some of the world’s most trend-setting, fashion editors.

Accumulating an impressive list of advertising and editorial clients such as cosmetics giants Almay and Nivea, international versions of Elle and Vogue, Cleo, Shape and industry icon American Photo, Michael derives his inspiration for photography from an exploration into the worlds of Art and Commerce.

“It is always amazing to see how the world is shaped by photographic images. Everywhere you look, photographs are constantly stimulating us and sending us messages. The camera has to be the greatest invention of all time.”

Having returned to Los Angeles where he now resides, Michael’s preference for shooting outdoors is being gratified.
